Halloween is just around the corner and parents of children with food allergies need to use caution. Therefore, as you and your kids head out to trick or treat pay close attention to the candy they collect. Almost all contain a food allergen.

Most noteworthy, trick or treat candies are manufactured in facilities with common food allergens. The most common being peanuts, soy and dairy. However, other allergens include gluten, tree nuts, wheat and egg.
