Animal Allergies
Pets can be a great addition to any household. However, pets can cause allergic reactions in those who are sensitive to animal allergens. The most common animal allergens come from cats and dogs. Other animal allergens include rodents, birds, rabbits, cows and horses.
In most cases, animal allergens circulate throughout your house as small particles building up on carpets, couches and beds. These allergens are found in saliva, dander or urine. Once exposed to animal allergens symptoms can occur within minutes, however, some symptoms become more severe after several hours of exposure.
