Allergy and Asthma Symptoms in the Fall

With the Fall season upon us, this change in weather can effect your allergies and asthma. This is especially true for children going back to school as this is a tough time of year for kids with these symptoms. According to Dr. James Moy, “We see more emergency room visits and admissions to the hospital for asthma in the fall than any other time of year.”

Among allergy sufferers, ragweed and mold increase during this season significantly. Not to mention you are also dealing with cold and respiratory viruses during this time of year. As a result, allergy and asthma patients need to be very careful during this time of year.
