Do I need a referral to be seen at your office?

If you have a PPO insurance, no you do not need to be referred. You are welcome to call us directly and schedule an appointment. If you have an HMO or Medi-Cal HMO insurance, yes you do need to be referred by your Primary Care Provider.

Do we see children?

Yes, we see patients of all ages.

Do I need to stop all of my medications prior to allergy testing?

No, just any allergy medication or any medication containing antihistamine. All other medications can be continued. Please see the list on this website of medications that need to be stopped prior to skin testing.

How is allergy skin testing done?

There are two parts of allergy skin testing: the first part consists of scratches on the surface of the skin; the second part is similar to a TB test.

What insurance plans do you accept?

We accept all insurances including Covered California™ plans.

Do you see walk-ins?

No, we schedule all appointments; please call the office if you feel that you need a same-day appointment and we will try our best to accommodate you.
