We provide affordable allergy, asthma, and sinus relief. It is our goal to help you and your family members breathe easier so that you can live better.
Caring Asthma Treatment
At Baz Allergy, our doctors focus on providing relief with asthma treatments customized to each patient’s symptoms and individual needs. We work closely with each patient to monitor episodes and how well the treatment is providing relief.
We want to know how well the treatment is working and if we can provide even further relief by changing the treatment. It is important to us that each patient gets relief and are able to enjoy life to its fullest without asthma dominating it.
Poor air quality has been known to trigger asthmatic reactions and cause symptoms like wheezing and difficulty breathing. When poor air quality is the case, those with asthma are more likely to suffer an asthmatic attack. This is especially true for those living in the valley. We can work with you to create a plan of action for those poor air quality days so you can still go about doing the things you need to do.
Allergies – Causes and Treatments
There are many different categories of allergies and Baz Allergy can help with the treatment of each type. We make sure each family member receives the best allergy treatment medication has to offer by providing the most researched and effective solutions available.
Food Allergies – We Can Test and Treat
Our allergy specialists in Fresno can administer food allergy testing and interpret the results. Our allergists will let you know which foods are very reactive (meaning a more severe allergic reaction) and which foods are problematic but not as severe. If the food allergy testing was done for your child, we are equipped to discuss methods to help you plan your child’s days. As a result, your child is less likely to come into contact with the foods they are allergic to, especially if they are showing a severe reaction to one or more foods.
Environmental Allergies & Treatments
At Baz Allergy in Fresno, we treat all environmental allergies including dust, pets, perfume, pollen and more. One of the most common environmental allergies is pollen. Pollen allergy is usually experienced in the spring and fall when trees, grasses, bushes, and flowers are releasing their pollen. Many sufferers of pollen allergies experience symptoms like watery eyes, sneezing, stuffy nose and sometimes wheezing. The most common treatment for pollen allergy is a medication to treat symptoms. If the over-the-counter allergy medications are not working for you, our allergy specialists can offer allergy injections which prove more effective than simple over-the-counter allergy medications.
Living in Fresno can be tough for people who suffer from environmental allergies, keeping them from enjoying great features like strolling through Woodward Park or shopping with friends at River Park. Let’s get you out there.
Antibiotic Allergies
At Baz Allergy, Asthma and Sinus Center in Fresno near Alluvial, we can help you if you or your child has had an allergic reaction to an antibiotic. The most common symptoms include hives, swelling, shortness of breath, wheezing, and in some cases, even passing out. Afterward, we can help discuss a treatment plan with you and find possible antibiotics which are safe for you or your child.
Insect Stings
Allergies to insect stings are primarily from bees, wasps, hornets and yellow jackets. If you or someone you love has had an allergic reaction to an insect sting, come and see our allergists and discuss treatment options.
