Melissa Perez, PA-C is a board-certified physician assistant who provides compassionate, patient-centered allergy and asthma care at our Visalia clinic. She earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Midwestern University in Glendale and is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
Melissa has a strong background in primary care and brings a whole-person approach to allergy and respiratory health. She works closely with patients to manage chronic conditions such as allergic rhinitis, asthma, and environmental or seasonal allergies. Melissa is passionate about helping patients understand their symptoms, identify triggers, and develop treatment plans that are realistic, effective, and tailored to their lifestyle.
She believes the most fulfilling part of her career is building trust with patients and empowering them with the knowledge they need to take control of their health. By focusing on education and collaboration, Melissa helps patients feel confident managing their symptoms and improving their quality of life.
Melissa treats a wide range of allergy and respiratory conditions, including seasonal and year-round allergies, food allergies and intolerances, eczema and hives, allergic rhinitis and sinusitis, asthma and other respiratory conditions, obstructive sleep apnea, and chronic sinus disease.
Outside of medicine, Melissa enjoys real estate investing, hands-on home renovation projects, and interior design. She enjoys learning how systems work and creating spaces that are both functional and comfortable.
