Dr. Sydney B. Long joined Baz Allergy, Asthma & Sinus Center in 2016. She is board certified in allergy and immunology.
Dr. Long grew up in California and attended the University of California, Berkeley where she graduated summa cum laude with degrees in both molecular and cellular biology as well as nutritional sciences and toxicology. She then traveled all over the United States to complete her medical training. She started with medical school at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland, followed by an internal medicine residency program at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee, before completing her allergy and immunology fellowship at the University of Washington, in Seattle, Washington. Her areas of interest include allergic rhinitis, asthma and food allergies. She treats patients of all ages from children to adults.
After training around the country, Dr. Long is happy to return to her home state to care for patients. In her spare time, Dr. Long enjoys traveling, visiting national parks and sampling different cuisines from around the world.
