With the Sand Fire burning in Southern California and the Soberanes Fire in Monterey County, air quality in those areas as well as the Central Valley will be affected. For those who suffer from Asthma pay close attention to your local air quality alerts. As winds shift, smoke and ash can drift into the Central Valley affecting the air quality. Already this week, the San Joaquin Valley Air District is forecasting unhealthy air quality.

If you suffer from Asthma, take appropriate precautions when going outside, in any case, stay indoors. If you have experienced problems with your asthma such as asthma attacks requiring emergency room visits or symptoms that limited your normal level of activity, consider scheduling an appointment with an allergist who is an asthma specialist.   The Baz Allergy, Asthma and Sinus Center has 15 office in California, our newer offices are in Fremont, San Leandro, Los Banos and Turlock.
