Wintertime Allergies

For most patients, allergies are seasonal in nature. However, it is not uncommon to have wintertime allergies. In most cases, allergies in the winter are due to indoor allergens. Much of this can be caused by our heating and cooling units. When we change over these units to heat our homes it can release or stir up indoor allergens.

These indoor allergens include dust mites, mold and for pet owners pet allergens.

Its also important to note the different between a cold and wintertime allergies.
