Asthma Risk Increases with Winter

According to the WHO, over 150 million people suffer from Asthma around the world. One of the common Asthma triggers in the winter time is the cold weather. Lingering respiratory infections are also to blame for winter asthma attacks. These infections can trigger Asthma symptoms causing Asthma attacks in patients.

In order to avoid these symptoms, patients are encouraged to stay out of the cold weather as much as possible. It is also important to make sure your Asthma triggers at home are taken care of as well. This includes dust mites, cleaning chemicals, pets, smoking and mold.
