What do air pollution, asthma and Alzheimers disease all have in common?
Well for starters, air pollution is a common trigger for asthma patients, however, it may also prove even worse. New research suggests that air pollution may be a factor in Alzheimer’s disease. The research suggests that tiny particles in the air, when inhaled, might also invade the brain. This in turn can increase the risk of dementia.
Although the study was only conducted on mice, the evidence suggests that there may be a link between the two.
