Early exposure to peanuts may reduce allergies later

There is growing evidence that exposing the very young to peanuts may prevent peanut allergies.  An article on the Allergy & Allergy network website cites the LEAP (Learning Early About Peanut) study which says that high risk children who eat peanuts early in life may be less likely to develop peanut allergies compared to those who deliberately avoided peanuts.
